Questions Before You Book

Straight answers about choosing a course, pricing, equipment, and what happens after registration.

Choosing Your Training

Find the right starting point and understand how UXM teaches.

I've never shot past 100 yards. Am I ready?

Yes. Cornerstone starts with the fundamentals and is built for new shooters as well as experienced hunters and competitors. You do not need prior long-range experience.

Why is Cornerstone two days?

Cornerstone uses two focused days to cover its full curriculum, alternating instruction with immediate range application. It gives you a repeatable foundation you can continue using after class.

What makes UXM different from other training?

UXM focuses on plain-language coaching, useful reps, direct feedback, and practical range and field application. The goal is a system you understand and can repeat—not an instructor demonstration or an assembly-line class.

Can UXM host a course at my local range?

Yes. UXM travels for public and private training and can discuss a course built around your range, group, and goals. Send the location and a rough group size to start the conversation.

Planning Your Course

Dates, pricing, equipment, and what happens before class.

Where are courses offered?

UXM is based in Wyoming and travels regularly to Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and beyond. The Courses page is the source of truth for currently scheduled dates and locations.

How much do courses cost?

Pricing varies by course and event. Each dated course page shows current tuition and exactly what is due today before you register. Private and hosted training is quoted around the group, location, and goals.

Do I need to bring my own rifle?

Equipment depends on the course and location. Some events include rifles and ammunition; others offer rentals or ammunition for purchase. Private instruction often uses your own setup. Check the specific event details before class.

What should I bring to class?

After registration, you will receive course-specific preparation information and a packing list. Requirements vary by event, so use that message as the source of truth and ask Ian before traveling if anything is unclear.

Ready for the next step?

View upcoming dates and current pricing, or ask Ian which training fits your goals.

Ian replies personally within 24–48 hours.
