Meet Ian Miner

A Coach for the Common Man

I'm Ian Miner: Midwest raised, former Marine Scout Sniper, and a coach before anything else. I played college ball, served in the Marines, and got my Master's in Sports Management and Coaching.

For more than 10 years, I've taught precision shooting the same way I coach sports: plain language, useful reps, and honest feedback that helps real people improve.

Why UXM Exists

"The most extraordinary thing in the world is an ordinary man and an ordinary woman and their ordinary children."
G.K. Chesterton

UXM exists for one reason: to support the common man. I believe quality training should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford $2,000+ per day courses.

I've attended trainings that felt like an assembly line. Impersonal, rushed, and more about moving bodies through than actually teaching. I left feeling like a number, not like I'd learned something applicable.

That's not what UXM is. This is affordable, professional training built for real people. The farmer, the shift worker, the office worker who volunteers as a high school baseball coach. The everyday American who wants to learn precision shooting but has been priced out everywhere else.

My mission is simple: I want you to leave feeling like you just learned something you can actually use in the field. Not theory. Not showing off. Applicable skills and real confidence.

Cornerstone courses start at $650.

Two days of professional coaching, real range time, and a field-ready system—priced to keep quality instruction within reach.

What I Believe

Ian Miner providing personalized one-on-one instruction
  • 01

    Training should be accessible

Quality instruction shouldn't require a second mortgage. The common man deserves professional coaching that is priced within reach.

  • 02

    You're not a number

This is a personal relationship, not an assembly line. We start where you are and coach toward the result you need in the field.

  • 03

    Skills should be applicable

Everything you learn should work with your rifle back home. Theory only matters when it turns into repeatable confidence.
